Sebril Holland of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, lived a short life but left a long legacy. Little is known about the man himself and there is not even agreement about how is name was spelled or even what his given name might have been. Some call him Sebril Holland, others are named after him and their names are Sebrill and even Sabel. Other family researchers feel that his "real" name may have been Mallory. What we do know is that he was a farm boy in Virginia who served his state well in the American Civil War. He married and had two children, one who died an infant and another who grew to become the patriarch of a large and proud family. We invite all the Holland cousins and kin to join the search to reconstruct the history of our diverse and rich family.
